Foundation of the research pillar

The research pillar Innovation & Growth of the Department of Law and Economics was founded in 2010. Prof. Kock has been the spokesperson of the research pillar since 2017. The research pillar Innovation & Growth sees itself as a platform for the cross-departmental bundling of competencies.

Goals of the research pillar

The aim of the research pillar Innovation & Growth is to penetrate the innovation process and its growth effects at different economic levels. We aim at substantial research gaps in the interaction between innovation-induced structural change and long-term macroeconomic growth, and at sharing our findings with practitioners. The association of leading scientists and the resulting interdisciplinary perspective will create a unique competitive advantage.
